According to this site about Portland architects, there are dozens of new homes being developed in the Portland Oregon area that feature green design that goes beyond the LEEDS charter in saving energy. Heating and cooling consume the most energy for domestic buildings whether residential or commercial. In the Portland area heating costs are typically higher than cooling costs as a ratio of the National average.

Portland Area Doctors Reviews

Many times in the past I’ve wanted to check out businesses before I do, um, business with them. Especially if it’s something really personal like healthcare. That’s why I’m kind of psyched that there’s a new reliable resource for looking up doctors reviews in the Portland area. Sure there are many online directories for medical research on a National level, but not so many that are specifically pointed to a local area like Portland. Some great resources exist on a state level such as the Oregon Health and Science University. However they do not provide easy access to physician reviews.

So I give you Portland doctors reviews .. a very professionally developed site that offers public comments and doctors described by neighborhood and specialty. Check it out

Portland Guides Now Has Blogging!

What a fun world we live in where at the click of a few keys on a computer we can create and communicate with our neighbors around the globe. One of the key benefits of this (besides being neighborly) is the capacity to create value out of mere binary data that wooshes through the pipes of the Net .. value that may be traded for traffic and kind words concerning our creative actions.

This evening I decided to establish a new blog for the Portland Oregon area. I love the Northeastern United States, especially the whipping hills and shores of the coast. Portland is a fine city, the weather is moderate (as long as you like rain) and the food is yummy.

Health conscious people live and work and play in the Portland area. There are doctors and lawyers in Portland, as well as bakers and truck drivers and hotel workers. Anyone who has been to Portland without being mugged should have fond memories of the place. I sure do!
